For the first time ever, Millennials will be the largest voting block in the general election. Sponsored by generous venture capital from Minority Leader Paul Thissen, the College Democrats of Minnesota are kickstarting the Campus Challenge 2016 to get out the vote on campuses across our state!

The College DFL Chapter that earns the most points for the following activities will earn $750 earmarked for their chapter. The Chapter that earns the second most points will earn $250. Points awarded to your Chapter are weighted by the size of the student body population at your campus. Chapters can use the funds to organize students as they see fit for their chapter.

The Points System

  • 10 points for each student that your Chapter takes to the polls for early voting between September 23 and November 7.
  • 5 points for each student your Chapter signs up for an absentee ballot application and who is confirmed to have voted absentee before November 7.
  • 3 points for each student that your Chapter registers to vote between September 14 and October 19.
